Cati's House Childcare

Meet Cati

“Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

I am a devoted wife and mother of 2 adult daughters, Nikki is 27 years old and Tina is 24 years old. We also have 4 cats: Layden, Opie Akasha, Janos & 2 dogs named Charlize "Charlie" for short & Copper

I am currently Studying to become a Biblical Counselor. I am a lifelong learner and  enjoy working with children. I have worked with and/or cared for children in various settings for the past 15+ years, and out of those 15+ years I have 9 years working with Special needs kids.

I would like to explain why I decided to open a home daycare, after trying to find someone to watch my daughter's I discovered that "babysitters" are not daycare providers, they are not very reliable or trained so I decided to become the person I was LOOKING for. Someone parent's like yourself could count on. I opened my business in 1998.

I believe that through the more intimate setting of an in-home daycare a child is able to receive the individualized attention that he or she may not get in a larger group setting. Consistency and stability from a single caregiver throughout a child’s early years is important and I aim to be that caregiver and help the children in my care reach their potential, support their creativity and be a partner with families and aid them in the development of their child.

I have enjoyed the opportunity to keep children in my home for over 15+ years now, and I absolutely love it! I welcome your family into my heart and home. I offer more then just a baby-sitting serve, I offer an extended family ~ a support system that nurtures all of us. A unique family home setting the caters to the emotional and developmental needs of all children.

“From the same mouth come blessing and cursing” James 3:10
….We must be careful not to discourage {our children} through nagging, criticism, and reprimands. Even more important, we must balance our  correction with words of encouragement and affirmation, words that our precious little ones will treasure in their hearts throughout their whole lives…..

 Goals
It is my goal to be the ‘hands and feet of Jesus’, to serve Him, your child, and your family.  I consider my childcare business to not just be a business, but a calling.  Therefore, it is very important to me to serve Him well and in turn serve your family with my talents and God given abilities.
